RSA Student Design Awards 2016/2017

Now in its 93nd year, design competition titled RSA Student Design Awards 2016/2017 is open for registration, challenges emerging designers worldwide to tackle pressing social, environmental and economic issues through design thinking.

RSA design competition wants to empower a generation of savvy, employable graduates who realize the potential of design to benefit society. It challenges students and recent graduates to tackle pressing social, environmental and economic issues through design thinking.

The RSA Student Design Awards challenge emerging designers around the world to tackle pressing social, environmental and economic issues through design thinking. Founded in 1924, they're the longest-running student competition in the world.

Winners are rewarded with cash prizes, paid industry placements, complementary RSA Fellowship and a range of other benefits to kick-start their careers. Different cash prizes are available for each brief.

The 2016/2017 competition includes twelve different briefs that bring together a range of thematic research areas, notably:

- Life-long learning and development
- Sustainability and the circular economy
- Fostering a more inclusive, tolerant society
- Empowering people to live longer, healthier lives

Submissions can be entered from 18th January 2017 to 8th March 2017!

The RSA Student Design Awards is a global curriculum and annual competition for higher education students and recent graduates run by the RSA, a globally renowned charity committed to finding innovative, practical solutions to social problems.

For entrants submitting their work before or on 8 February 2017, the entry fee is £25 per entry. After 8 February 2017 and until the final submission deadline — 8 March 2017, the entry fee is £35.

The competition is open to current students and new graduates from anywhere in the world. Both individual and group entries are eligible.
