The 2019 edition of animation festival titled Pictoplasma Berlin is calling for animation submissions for the “Characters In Motion” international screenings from any part of the world.
Pictoplasma Festival transforms Berlin into the world’s most exciting meeting point for a diverse scene of international artists and creatives, trailblazing the face of tomorrow’s visual culture. The Characters in Motion screenings offer an overview of international animations, short films, motion graphics, and experimental work, focusing on stylish and fresh character-driven visuals and narratives.
The festival showcases latest trends in figurative character design, from fine to urban arts, illustration, animation and graphic design. Creators, producers and fans meet for an unconventional conference with cutting-edge artist presentations, curated screening programmes bring the latest animation eye-candy to the big screen, and a series of exhibitions and group-shows invite visitors to experience original works and outstanding character craftsmanship.
Organizer are looking for animation short-films. High-grade Characters in animation, narration, music visuals, experimental work or motion graphics, from any part of the world, are eligible for entries.
