The challenge is to design a single-family home that can be 3D printed, with the so called Cellular Fabrication™ method. The design should rethink traditional aesthetics, ergonomics, construction, building systems, and structure from the bottom up.
Design proposals should intelligently and creatively optimize the architecture of contemporary dwellings through the use of Cellular Fabrication™. This method combines large-scale robotics, sophisticated algorithms and carbon composite materials to print open-cell structures.
Individual or group entries may be submitted.
The construction of the winning entry is scheduled for July 2016.
There is no entry fee for this Architecture Competition!
It's free to enter!
