The Science Without Borders Challenge is a challenge to get students and teachers more involved and interested in ocean conservation through art. This annual competition inspires students to be creative while promoting public awareness of the need to preserve, protect, and restore the world’s oceans and aquatic resources, contributing to the overarching goals of the Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation.
The theme of 2018 edition is "Why Coral Reefs Matter".
2018 has been declared the International Year of the Reef (IYOR). All around the world, nations, organizations, schools, and individuals will celebrate the IYOR 2018 in a variety of ways.
