Just For Laughs International Visual Arts Competition now is over!
CALL FOR ENTRIES: While humor warms your heart and soul, dark humor will send chills down your spine. It looks at life’s grim events with a wry smile, making fatality more bearable through laughter. (definition from the Just for Laughs Museum’s exhibit ’Twelve Universes of Humour’)
For a two-dimensional work to be admissible, its dimensions must not exceed 36 inches x 44 inches (92 cm x 112 cm). For a three-dimensional work to be admissible, its dimensions must not exceed 11 inches x 11 inches, with a height of 19 inches (28 cm x 28 cm x 49 cm).
Selected artists will be contacted by June 8th in order to proceed with the shipping of their work.
There is no entry fee for this art competition.
The Finalist’s Exhibition will feature works by visual artists selected by a multidisciplinary jury from hundreds of participants, literally transforming Sainte-Catherine Street into the Boulevard of the Arts, in the heart of Montrealʼs Quartier des Spectacles.
