The 4th edition of art competition within the framework of the socio-cultural project by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company has been recently opened for entries open to all students of international arts institutes and colleges.
Takeda Pharmaceutical Company together with the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts is announcing the opening of the international art competition “Takeda. Art/Help. The Rule of the Exception” for students at art schools and universities.
The “Takeda. Art/Help” competition is now in its fourth year and is a part of the Takeda Pharmaceutical Company’s major social and cultural programme “Takeda. Pain and Will”, which seeks to make the public aware of the importance of developing new paths in medical treatment.

They should provide an artistic interpretation of the specific theme in any of a broad range of styles from the figurative to the abstract, and they should have emotional impact. The artists should demonstrate their technical proficiency in composition, draftsmanship and painting. The longest side of the entries may not exceed 1 metre.
Applications for the competition must be submitted online from 18 November 2019 through 18 January 2020, inclusive. Applications must include information about the artist (a photograph and brief biography), a brief annotation about the work, and an electronic image (1,200 x 1,800 pixels).
The ceremony will take place in Moscow on 28 February 2020. Seven winners will enjoy an all-expense-paid three-day trip to Moscow to attend the award ceremony.
