CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: The 12th Arte Laguna Prize, an international free-themed art competition aimed at enhancing Contemporary Art, is now open and entries for the 2017-2018 edition are accepted from all parts of the world.
The aims of The Arte Laguna Prize is to promoting contemporary art and providing artists with professional development opportunities.
It's stands out in the global art scene for the variety of its partnerships and opportunities offered to artists, and is recognized worldwide as a real springboard for the artists’ career.
There is no thematic guidelines or any other restriction, and its goal is to collect the multiple expressions of contemporary art in the fields of:
• Photography Art
• Sculpture and Installation
• Video Art and Short Films
• Virtual Art
• Digital Graphics
• Land Art
• Urban Art
The works will be evaluated and selected by a jury of international experts.
Major collective exhibition with Finalist’s works will be hosted at the Arsenale of Venice in March 2018. The exhibition will include 115 works of the artist.
For the partial support of the organisation expenses, the application fee is 55 Euro for 1 work and 50 Euro for every additional work (submitted to the same section).
For under 25 artists the application fee is 50 Euro for 1 work and 45 Euro for every additional work (submitted to the same section) with the obligation to attach a copy of the artist's ID card in the subscription.
Who can enter?
This competition is open to artists worldwide with no age restrictions.
An international jury will select 115 finalist artists for:
• 5 cash prizes of 7.000 Euro each
• Major collective exhibition in the Arsenale of Venice
• 3 exhibitions in international Art Galleries
• 3 collaborations with Companies
• 10 Art Residencies
• 3 International Festivals
• 1 Prize Sustainability and Art
• Publication in the catalogue
Major collective exhibition with Finalist’s works will be hosted at the Arsenale of Venice in March 2018. The exhibition will include 30 works of painting, 25 sculptures and installations, 25 works of photographic art, 10 videos, 5 land art works, 5 works of urban art, 5 works of virtual art, 5 works of digital graphics, 5 performances — which will be performed live during the exhibition’s opening ceremony.
