CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: “WOW! This is USA” is an international Brand Competition open to students around the world, as an exercise to redesign United States’ country brand.
The goal of this Brand Competition is to take the wonderful ideas of young people
and bring them to great professional influencers in the creative field, and also to create a visual identity system capable of graphically communicating everything the US has to offer both from a cultural and an economic point of view.
The visual system created must be flexible enough to meet the standards of a variety of institutions ranging from political to cultural and also adapt over time to the new contexts and realities that the country might face.
The new brand should therefore integrate all sectors of the American society giving up on singularities in favor of the common grounds, creating a notion of globality capable of also remarking the local.
WOW! is an organization that aims to empower and promote creativity in students around the world through friendly, fun and challenging competitions.
It is necessary to send:
• Abstract (200 words maximum)
• Look and feel
• Color palette
• Brand applications
All submissions must be .jpg. Each jpg must contain only one item (i.e logo in one .jpg and color palette in another one), please don’t collage multiple items on a single .jpg.
Entry Fees fo this competition are:
• Special entry: 40 Euro – Until 12th November 2017
• Early entry: 60 Euro – 13th November — 15th December, 2017
• Regular entry: 90 Euro – 16th December 2017 — 15th January 2018
Who can enter?
This competition is open to all young people in the world.
A total of 4,000 Euro will be awarded in cash and proposal and subscriptions will be published in several popular design magazines.
