The organizer of the 47th World Gallery of Cartoons Skopje 2016, cartoon contest is OSTEN Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
OSTEN’s World Gallery of Cartoons is the one and only event of such provenance in the Republic of Macedonia, the oldest in the Balkan and one of the most long-standing in the world. It was established back in 1969, making artistic forms like cartoon, satiric drawing and comic strips available to the wider audience.
In this edition you can participate submitting several works, but they need to be strictly original, non-linguistic and hand-drawn works on paper (cartoons, satirical drawings and comics).
The theme is free and the format to use is А4 (21,9 x 29,7) or А3 (29,7 x 42,0).
The official announcement of the awards and the opening of the exhibition will take place on 26 May 2016 at OSTEN Gallery, Skopje, Macedonia.
There is no entry fee for this cartoon contest!

This contest World Gallery Of Cartoons Skopje 2016 is open to all cartoonists professional or semi-professional and amateur around the world.
PRIZE ↓
Awarded cartoonists of this contest will receive plaques, money prizes, and are also invited to the awards presenting ceremony to receive the award.
In 2016, three first awards and ten special awards will be announced.
One Macedonian cartoonist will also receive the CICO Award.
For every edition of the World Gallery of Cartoons, OSTEN will publish an exclusive catalog with the selected cartoonists/works.
