Leroy Merlin - La casa di domani : Speciale bagno 2018: Leroy Merlin Italy recently has launched new design contest titled ’La casa di domani - Speciale bagno’ 2018 seeking for the innovative solution for the bathroom invites all designers and creative talents of any nationality to partecipate.

Design contest "La casa di domani - Speciale bagno" has been recently announced by famouse Italian company Leroy Merlin looking for the innovative solution for the bathroom of tomorrow, with intend to award a cash prize to the first three projects winners that propose better innovative ideas.

Starting from the standard bathroom of dimensions 3m X 2m with a window and a door) the candidates need to submit in a total 5 mini proposal. You need to send 4 proposal for the bathroom based on the tipology Leroy Merlen, using the Leroy Merlen materials and 1 proposal that need to be inovative idea and the totaly new proposal using the new idealised materials regardless of the Leroy Merlen (example.mobile for the bathroom, box shower etc.).

Your proposal need to be based on the 4 fundamental issues emerged of the research “Osservatorio sulla Casa” that express the real needs of the modern society: home comfortable for living, economic home, health home, respectful for the environment, etc.

The theme of this design contest 2018 is based on the better living for everyone and to make "accessible" home also to those who are in the economic difficults. For this reason concept of this contest request realization of a "accessibile" project in terms of structure, economy and ecology, that make house efficient and comfortable and accessibile for everyone.

Submitted projects needs to to have following characteristics:

• Sustainability
• Innovation
• Welfare
• Comfort
• Economy

Awards will be given to those that project better interpret necessity of modern living, issues emerged of the research “Osservatorio sulla Casa”. There is no entry fees for this contest!
