Nami Concours 2023: International Nami Concours 2023, recently opened for entries and organized every two years by Nami Island (Korea), aims to encourage artists’ creativity and contribute to the advancement of the quality of picture book illustrations.

Organized every two years by Nami Island (Korea), the International Nami Concours, now in its 2023 edition is calling for entries!

Nami Concours aims to encourage artists’ creativity and contribute to the advancement of the quality of the picture book illustrations.

There is no theme.

Submission requirements:

➜ Entrants may submit 5 illustrations for picture book, on any theme. A set of illustrations should comprise one story. The size of each image may differ as long as the total sum is no bigger than 20MB.

➜ You can submit both published and unpublished illustrations. You can also submit a wordless picture book. However, each applicant is required to submit a synopsis of 300 letters maximum in English.

➜ Only books published within the recent 5 years (2018-2022) can be submitted.

This competition is open worldwide to all picture book illustrators in the world.
