Posterheroes 2023 now is over!
Posterheroes 2023, an international graphic design competition organised by PLUG association, is opened for entries inviting the creative international community to create a poster representing digital equality.
About Competition
Posterheroes is an international contest about social communication, recently opened for entries that calls for posters about social and environmental issues.
Every year, Posterheroes invites students, professional designers, and everyone who is into graphic design to create a poster about topics of social interest.
This year the theme is “Beautifully Diverse”.
In a world where inequalities are constantly increasing, strengthening cooperation and educating solidarity and empathy to recognize the value and dignity of each individual, regardless of ability or characteristics, is more important than ever. Through collective action, promoting a narrative of disability that is neither positive nor negative but a simple expression of the diversity that characterises humanity is therefore necessary.
It is time to transcend the normal and embrace the beauty of diversity.
Posterheroes wants to animate international debate on social issues, stimulating the creative community to reflect on them.
Graphic designers, professional or not, are invited to express their thoughts through a 70×100 cm poster.
All the works are judged by a selection panel composed of some of the most relevant graphic design and visual communication experts that choses 40 winning posters.
This year, Posterheroes is excited to introduce a new feature: the option to submit AI-generated images (out of competition) as a means of exploring innovative tools and techniques.
Submission requirements
Files must comply with the following requirements:
➜ 70 x 100 cm vertical format
➜ 10 MB max size. A maximum resolution of 150 dpi is recommended
➜ Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG
➜ Color profile: CMYK.
➜ Techinique: free.
➜ Text, if any, must be in English

Prize
You have the chance to win cash prizes, take part in many exhibitions and events and be featured in Posterheroes publications and editorial projects.
