Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea Award 2022 now is over!
Trieste Contemporanea is calling for applications for the 2022 Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea (YEATC) Award, international competition assigns to a young Central Eastern European artist with the aim of promoting his or her work on the international art scene.
About Competition
The Trieste Contemporanea Committee assigns the Young European Artist Trieste Contemporanea Award to a young Central Eastern European artist with the aim of promoting his or her work on the international art scene.
Since 1999, the Trieste Contemporanea rewards the YEATC Award to a young artist with the aim of promoting her or his work on the international art scene.
Applications will be examined by a judging committee comprising experts and curators of contemporary art from Central Eastern Europe.
The award gives the winner the opportunity to think and display an exhibition project in Trieste at the Studio Tommaseo and an exhibition catalogue is published.
Submission requirements
➜ Every participant need to submit an updated portfolio. The portfolio should be composed by images (of at last 5 recent works, with captions and brief descriptions), a CV, an artistic statement.
Eligibility
The call is open to young artists under the age of 30 (born after 10 July 1992) and born in one of the following countries: Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
Prize
The winner will be asked to plan a 2023 solo exhibition at Studio Tommaseo in Trieste.
