2019 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards now is over!

The Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards, which every year celebrate outstanding achievements in the design and installation of tile and stone in both residential and commercial projects, has been recently opened for entries for 2019.

About Competition

The Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards, design contest which recognize outstanding design and installation in residential and commercial tile and stone projects, are open for entries for 2019.

Submissions for the 2019 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards are open to all professionals who demonstrate design and/or installation excellence in residential and commercial projects, giving special recognition to stunning stone & tile.

There is a different cattegories:

• international tile design,
• international stone design,
• tile installation,
• tile design,
• stone installation,
• stone design.

Submission requiremenets:

• Projects must have been completed within the past 2 years (Jan 2017 – Dec 2018).
• Projects can be located within or outside North America.
• Multiple entries are accepted and encouraged. Separate forms are required for each entry.

Projects will be judged separately on installation and design, with entry forms specific to each field of work. Projects will be judged on their levels of creativity, craftsmanship, outstanding use of materials, and achievement in the use of tile or stone within the residential and commercial project categories. Of particular interest are projects that demonstrate an original or unusual use of materials, incorporate an innovative technology, reflect installation excellence or successfully combine aesthetics with function in a unique and interesting way.

An independent panel of judges for all award categories will evaluate entries using a blind format based on Excellence in Execution, Inspiring + Original Use and Overall Purpose.

All winners will be invited to attend Coverings 2019 show in Orlando. Winners will also have their work featured on meter boards at the show.

There is no entry fee to participate!

Eligibility

Submissions for the 2019 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards competition are open to architects, designers, builders, contractors, distributors, retailers, installers, and other professionals who demonstrate design and/or installation excellence in residential and commercial projects, giving special recognition to stunning stone & tile.
