2019 North American Copper in Architecture Awards now is over!
The 2019 North American Copper in Architecture Awards now is an opened call for entries and invites all architects, designers and sheet metal contractors to submit their copper building projects.
About Competition
The Copper Development Association (CDA) and Canadian Copper & Brass Development Association (CCBDA) call for entries of outstanding copper building projects for submission to the 2019 North American Copper in Architecture Awards, a program which recognizes and promotes outstanding application of architectural copper alloys.
Architects, designers and sheet metal contractors are invited to submit their copper building projects. The program recognizes and promotes architectural copper and copper alloy structures in North America.
For over a decade, the North American Copper in Architecture (NACIA) Awards Program has recognized hundreds of copper buildings from across the United States and Canada.
Eligible projects must feature a significant application of architectural copper, be located in the North America and have been completed within the past 3 years.
There is a two categories:
• Restoration / Renovation
• New Construction
Submission requirements:
• Official Project Name
• Project Location
• Architect of Record & Location
• Consulting Architect(s) & Location
• General Contractor & Location
• Roofing and/or Sheet Metal Contractor & Location
• Copper Manufacturer & Location
• Description of Building highlighting the copper system
• Up to 10 High-resolution Photographs of the project and copper system (RGB, 300 dpi, up to 8Mb, JPEG format)
Projects will be judged by a panel of industry experts based on the following criteria:
• Copper system design
• Integration of copper alloys with overall building design
• Craftsmanship of installation
• Excellence in innovation or restoration, as applicable
Projects will be featured on the Copper Development Association’s website and promoted in various publications.
There is no entry fee to partecipate!
