2020 Spirit of Flight Juried Photography Exhibition now is over!
The Museum of Flight has recently announced the call for entries accepting submissions for its annual photography competition and exhition 2020 Spirit of Flight open to all photographers worldwide.
About Competition
The Museum of Flight (Seattle) every year organize its juried photography competition and exhibition titled Spirit of Flight and now is accepting submissions in its 2020 edition inviting all photographers worldwide to participtate.
This year’s exhibition images will reflect upon the “Spirit of Flying Home”. Inspired by the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, and the boundless emotions felt the world over by returning service members and families after the extended global conflict.
Photographers are encouraged to submit a broad range of interpretations embodying the theme.
Submission guidelines:
As this call is for authentic photographs of the real world, please do not digitally enhance or alter your photographs beyond the basic corrections to achieve realistic color/grayscale balance, contrast and sharpness.
Photographs chosen for the exhibition must be professional prints, ready to hang. All photos must be framed using black metal frames, and either un-matted, or using a white or off-white matte.
The minimum height and/or width is 8” and the maximum height and/or width is 24”, overall visible print area. Printed photographs should be reproduced at a resolution of 300 dpi at size or better.
Each photographer may submit up to 6 entries and a maximum of 3 entries by a single photographer will be juried into the exhibition.
Selected by a jury of Museum staff and volunteers, the exhibition showcases a stunning selection of images curated from hundreds of photographs submitted by photographers from around the world.
Entrants will be notified if they are chosen for the exhibition by April 13, 2020.
Special juried exhibition at the Museum will open to public on May 30, 2020. The exhibition will be comprised of 35 photographs and displayed in the T.A. Wilson Great Gallery.
Entry fees:
The entry fee is $25 total for >up to 3 images, and $10 for each additional image.
Eligibility
The 2020 Spirit of Flight Juried Photography Exhibition and photography competition is open to all photographers worldwide. Only the photographer creator may submit.
