3x3 International Illustration Show No. 17 now is over!
The 3x3 International Illustration Awards Show 2020 has recently opened the call for entries for its 17th illustration competition with the mission to spotlight the best contemporary international artists they can find and encourage a new focus on the use of illustration by the global editorial, advertising and design communities.
About Competition
The 3x3 International Illustration Awards Show 2020 is calling for entries!
The 3x3 Magazine of Contemporary Illustration every year judging the world’s best contemporary illustration inviting all illustrators, art directors, graphic designers, educators, students, recent graduates, editors, publishers to submit they best work for its 3x3 International Illustration Awards Show.
There are two main categories in which you can participate:
• Professional Show - includes animation, advvertising, books including picture books, comics, corporate communication, covers, seven categories of editorial illustration, ephemera, fashion, gallery, packaging, posters, sci-fi, self-promotion, textiles, three-dimensional and unpublished.
• Student Show - include animation, books, picture books, illustration and sci-fi.
Submission requirements:
Print
Images must be 1024 pixels on the longest side, 72 dpi, RGB, jpg. Organiser will request hires files from all winners for reproduction.
Animation
Animation entries must be entered in QuickTime format (.mov) and no larger than 25MB. Animated gifs are also accepted.
Books
For books, comics or graphic novels enter the front cover with title and three to four representative spreads digitally.
Entry fees:
ProShow Fees
• Single Entry: $35
• Series Entry (3–5 images with same theme): $60
Student Show Fees
• Single Entry: $15
• Series Entry (3–5 images with same theme): $35
Extended deadline is April 3rd 2020 and entries submitted after that day will be considered late and will incur an additional $10 late fee.
Eligibility
This illustration competition is open to all illustrators, art directors, graphic designers, educators, students, recent graduates, editors, publishers in all countries for commissioned and non-commissioned work produced and/or published prior to the show deadline.
