The 36th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition will be opened for entries very soon and like every year invites all visual artists over the age of 18 from all around the world to participate submiting their best works.
About Competition
The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition, organised by Agora Gallery, now in its 36th edition is calling for entries, searching for artists from around the world, at any stage of their career.
The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition is an exciting opportunity to show new and innovative work while gaining exposure to an extensive international audience.
All work will be reviewed by a rotating panel of expert jurors, each representing a different field in the art world.
Painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital media, printing, and mixed media are eligible. Video art, film, performance art, jewelry, and crafts are not eligible.
Submission requirements
➜ All submitted work must be available for sale.
➜ It is encouraged to submit images of several pieces or multiple views of the same piece.
➜ Dimensions of two-dimensional work cannot exceed 75 x 85 inches (192 x 218 centimeters)
➜ Three-dimensional work (i.e., sculptures) cannot be larger than 72 x 72 x 24 inches (184 x 184 x 61 centimeters)
The winners wil be announced on September 7, 2021.
Eligibility
All visual artists worldwide over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.
Prize
Artists have a chance to participate in a juried exhibition in New York City's Chelsea Art District and to be showcased and promoted online and in print. A distinguished panel of jurors is selected to judge, presenting more than $70,000 in awards.
Entry fees
There is a $45 entry fee which includes up to 5 images ($5 for each additional image). The Early Bird promotion (from April 5th to May 3rd) offers artists the opportunity to upload up to 7 images for only a $5 Entry Fee.
