7th International Biennial Of Socio-Political Poster 2018 now is over!
Poster competition organised by the Foundation for the International Youth Meeting Centre in Oświęcim, Poland titled 7th International Socio-Political Poster Biennial 2018 aims to express through art the need for a civilisation of human rights arising from a culture of respect for the dignity of man, his natural freedom, and the principle of solidarity.
About Competition
Poster competition titled International Socio-Political Poster Biennale is an initiative of the International Youth Meeting Centre in order to organise an artistic forum in Oświęcim or the exchange of views on the most topical global contemporary issues that has met with interest by many renowned artists from all over the world. Creative for human rights — the motto of the biennale — reflects both the Youth Meeting Centre’s educational work programme, which is based on the history of Auschwitz Concentration Camp, as well as their efforts to build up civic society.

’A civilisation of human rights needs to stem from a culture created with respect for the dignity of man, his natural freedom, and, in the public space — within a state and internationally — with respect for the principle of solidarity.’
