8th Hiii Illustration International Competition 2020 now is over!
Hiii Illustration 2020, aka the 8th Hiii Illustration International Competition, organised by Hiiibrand has been recently opened for entries aiming to discover and award outstanding illustration talents and works all over the world, in turn to advance the development of the illustration cause.
About Competition
The 8th Hiii Illustration International Competition 2020, is now calling for entries! The competition opens to all illustrators, creative professionals, publishers, agencies, teachers and students worldwide, aiming to discover and award outstanding illustration talents and works all over the world, in turn to advance the development of the illustration cause.
Categories
A) Commercial
Illustration works that were commissioned by clients, have been put into production or application.
Examples: advertising, design, product, packaging, place or space, animation, fashion, textiles, gaming, apps, social media, television and web, billboards, cd covers, posters, labels, etc.
B) Publishing
Illustration works that were commissioned by clients, have been published or issued.
Examples: books, editorial, covers, magazines, newspapers, comics, handmade books, zines, other publication (including digital formatting), etc.
C) Children's Book
Children’s book illustrations for children under 16, published or unpublished.
D) Uncommissioned
Uncommissioned illustration works, or commnissioned ones, but haven’t yet been put into production, application or publication.
Examples: Self-generated work, Self-promotion, Experiment, etc.
Submission requirements
➜ Any illustration works, first created or published from 2017 through 2020 are eligible. There is no limit to how many works each illustrator can submit.
➜ The single entry can be with just one illustration.
➜ The series entry can include no more than 10 different illustrations.
➜ Each entry for Children’s Book category should be 10 illustrations with the cover included.
You need to preparare:
➜ The title and description of your works.
➜ The images should be in .JPG format, RGB and 72 dpi. The audio or viedo files should be in .mp3 or .mp4 format.
The finalist will be announced in June 2021. The winners will be announced in July 2021.
Eligibility
Hiii Illustration 2020 is open to all illustrators, creative professionals, publishers, agencies, teachers and students worldwide.
Prize
Several international well-known judges will select the winners, consisting of 1 Grand Prix, 20 Best of the Best, and 50 Merit Award. Works that win Grand Prix, Jury Awards, Best of the Best or Merit Awards will be published on the annual of Hiii Illustration.

There will be series exhibitions of Hiii Illustration in different cities.
Entry fees
The first round judging is free. The second round judging fees is $20 single entry / $40 series.
