Aperture Portfolio Prize 2016 now is over!
The purpose of this photography competition is to identify trends in contemporary photography and highlight artists whose work deserves greater recognition. When choosing the first-prize winner and runners-up, Aperture’s editorial and curatorial staff look for innovative bodies of work that haven’t been widely seen in major publications or exhibition venues.
About Competition
Part of their activities is the annual Aperture Portfolio Prize, which aim to identify trends in contemporary photography and highlight artists whose work deserves greater recognition.
When choosing the first-prize winner and runners-up, Aperture’s editorial and curatorial staff look for innovative bodies of work that haven’t been widely seen in major publications or exhibition venues.
Photographers may submit between six and twelve photographs (no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side), and you can enter as part of a team or collective (providing at least one member of the duo or collective is a current Aperture Member).
There is no entry fee for this photography competition.
