About Competition
BBA Photography Prize 2020, international submission call for fine art photographers as part of the European Month of Photography 2020 (EMOP), now is opened for entries!
The BBA Photography Prize 2020 is an annual initiative by BBA Gallery in Berlin to invite the best talent and fine art photography work from around the world. Launched in 2017, BBA Gallery exists to find and represent artists with unique talent and ideas, a strong vision and a compelling style. Age or education are not the most important criteria for us, instead, we value authenticity, perseverance, professionalism and outstanding artworks. There are no restrictions in terms of theme, photography medium or educational background. Installations and conceptual works are welcome.
Submitted entries will be judged by high ranking professionals like the award-winning photographer Nikita Teryoshin, co-founder of EyeEm and Berlin Photo Week, Gen Sadakane and former Director of Eyes On – Photo Week Vienna and EMOP Jury member, Thomas Licek.
The jury will look for the most innovative concept, aesthetical language and unique approach within the medium.
Four shortlisted photo artists will be selected to exhibit at BBA Gallery as part of European Month of Photography (EMOP) in October 2020. The winner will receive a prestigious solo show at the BBA Gallery in Berlin. The winner will also be promoted by BBA Gallery for one year.

Entry fee start from 29€ during the Early Bird submission period (28 June 2020), after that date cost of submission will increase.
