2nd Black and White International Photo Contest Award 2017 now is over!
Now in its 2nd year, the Black and White International Photo Contest Award is open for entries for 2017 entirely dedicated to black and white photography, invites all photographers, amateurs or professionals to take a part.
About Competition
The Black and White International Award is hosted by the “Immagine latente” cultural organization, which focuses on the making of unique works as opposed to mass production of images.
Through the use of photography’s universal language this award aims to promote the dialogue among different cultures and people.
Furthermore the goal is to enhance on a large scale the divulgation and rediscovery of black and white art, a source of beauty and evocative power able to give immortality to images and to express every day life intensity and feelings.
This photo contest has no specific theme and is open for Single Shot or Series Shot black and white pictures.
Candidates are called to enter their images in Analogue or in Digital format.
Guidlines:
Best photo sequence (digital or analog)
• Candidates will enter a minimum of 5 photos to a maximum of 10 • You need to provide a brief decription of the work.
• If entering analogue photos please submit scans.
• All formats (i.e. 35mm, medium/large format, panoramic etc) will be accepted.
• Digital files must be .jpg and longest dimension should not exceed 3500 pixels (300dpi). Digital images may be shot with all kinds of digital devices.
Best single shot (digital or analog)
• Candidate may submit 1 picture or up to 3 pictures at the special discounted entry fee of 30 Euros. (The ones who participates in the competition for Best Single Shot x3 competes for the same category of Best Single Shot. Although they had 2 more chances)
• You need to provide a brief decription of the work.
• If entering analogue photos please submit scans.
• All formats (i.e. 35mm, medium/large format, panoramic etc) will be accepted.
• Digital file/s must be .jpg and longest dimension should not exceed 3500 pixels (300dpi).Digital images may be shot with all kinds of digital devices.
It is possible to apply only once to each category. However candidates may enter the same work in different categories.
Members of the jury are expecting to receive high technical, compositional, content and emotional quality images.
Entry fee for this competition vary depending on the type of entry submitted.
• Best Single Shot – 15 Euros
• Best Single Shot x3 – 30 Euros
• Best Series – 30 Euros
• Gold Membership – 50 Euros
Special discounted fees:
• Best Single Shot x3: Candidates entering the Best Single Shot x3 category will be able to submit up to 3 pictures paying the 30 Euros special fee.
• Gold Membership: candidates entering all categories will pay 50 Euros fee.
Eligibility
This competition is open only to photographers, amateurs or professionals, who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence.
