The BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER 2019 is now open for applications inviting all artists from around the world to participate offering them the possibility to gain a foothold in the international art market.
About Competition
The BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER, Germany’s largest open international art prize and a great opportunity for emerging artists is open for applications for 2019.
The competition funded by Warsteiner brewery has been a steppingstone for emerging artists and offers young artists from all around the world the possibility to gain a foothold in the international art market via personal mentorings, exhibitions and travels to important art fairs in the whole world.
Organiser are looking for artists who knowingly work at the interfaces between art and creative industries, whose works blur boundaries of traditional forms of expression.
The competition is open to any discipline of artistic expression and to submissions from all around the world. Visual arts, Design, Urban art or Video – the artistic potential has no limitations at Blooom Award by Warsteiner. Organizer are looking for artists who knowingly work at the interfaces between art and creative industries, whose works blur boundaries of traditional forms of expression.
Since 2017, Blooom Award by Warsteiner awards a special prize for the category music video.
Submission requirements:
• Only the submission of 1 work is permitted per applicant/group.
• The maximum upload size is 20 MB.
• Submitted artworks cannot be older than 2 years. Artworks must have been created after 31 July 2017.
The 5 finalists are chosen to present their artworks in a special exhibition integrated into Art Düsseldorf, 15-17 November 2019. At Art Düsseldorf young and established galleries show post-war and contemporary art, which attracts over 40,000 visitors each year. 2 of the finalists will be awarded additional prizes at an award ceremony during the special exhibition.
There is no entry fee to participate!

This competition is open to all discipline of artistic expression from all around the world. Participants need to be over 18 years of age.
