Branch Technology’s Freeform Home Design Challenge now is over!
Branch Technology is hosting they new architecture competition titled Freeform Home Design Challenge and invites all architects, designers, engineers and artists to investigate the benefits of 3D printing technologies.
About Competition
The challenge is to design a single-family home that can be 3D printed, with the so called Cellular Fabrication™ method. The design should rethink traditional aesthetics, ergonomics, construction, building systems, and structure from the bottom up.
Design proposals should intelligently and creatively optimize the architecture of contemporary dwellings through the use of Cellular Fabrication™. This method combines large-scale robotics, sophisticated algorithms and carbon composite materials to print open-cell structures.
Individual or group entries may be submitted.
The construction of the winning entry is scheduled for July 2016.
There is no entry fee for this architecture competition!

The Freeform Home Design Challenge architecture competition is open to professional architects, architecture firms, students, designers, engineers, and artists from around the world.
