CarpetVista International Design Competition 2019 now is over!
The annual CarpetVista Design Competition is currently accepting entries for its 2019 edition, this year celebreiting its 11 year is looking back at the beautiful carpets created from all around the globe.
About Competition
The CarpetVista Competition is calling for entries in its 2019 edition! On the 11-year anniversary of their design competition, organiser are looking back at the beautiful carpets created from all around the globe.
The theme for 2019 is ’Sustainable’ and with this theme we want to highlight the natural material wool. Thanks to the wool’s durability, the rug is a fantastic investment for the home. Carpets made of wool are durable, last a long time and becomes more beautiful over the years. High quality wool rugs can also get a new life by converting the rug into Colored Vintage carpets or Patchwork carpets. In this way, a wool carpet can be used by several generations.
On the 11-year anniversary of their design competition, organiser are looking back at the beautiful carpets created from all around the globe.
Submission requirements:
• Submitted designs must be original, creative and commercially viable. Complex forms and fine details are to be avoided.
• The carpet will be made by hand, so shades can be a challenge.
• All entries should be uploaded as JPG images with a maximum file size of 5Mb. Choose between these proportions: Rectangular 2667x4000px, Square 4000x4000px or Round 4000px in diameter. The JPG image should be saved in RGB colour space.
Each participant may submit more than one entry.
There is no entry fee to participate!
Eligibility
The CarpetVista Competition is open to everyone. Anyone with a passion for color, form and design can participate regardless of profession or professional level. Groups are welcome to participate too.
