Chicago International Film Festival 2017 now is over!
Cinema/Chicago is currently hosting its annual poster competition named The 53rd Chicago International Film Festival, North America’s longest-running competitive film festival to design the unique poster which will promote the new edition of the festival running October 12-26, 2017.
About Competition
The 53rd Chicago International Film Festival, North America’s longest-running competitive film festival held October 12-26, 2017, seeks submissions for its poster competition, the unique poster to be the key image for this year’s Festival, Oct 12-26, 2017.
The official Festival poster is the signature look of the Chicago International Film Festival each year.
Poster submissions should convey the experience of the Festival and design must reflect the theme “BECAUSE LIFE IS A MOVIE”.
All artworks must incorporate the Festival logo, the words 53rd Chicago International Film Festival, the dates October 12-26, 2017 and the website ChicagoFilmFestival.com. The design must be easily translated to a variety of print mediums (online banners, book covers, etc.).
Artists must use their own original artwork, copyrighted characters, images or clip art will not be accepted (with the exception of the Chicago International Film Festival logo).
Posters must be 27” x 40” and designed at 300 dpi (CMYK) but submitted at 72 dpi (RGB) format in JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) or PDF format. The orientation must be vertical only. File must be no larger than 12MB.
Entries must be submitted by March 31, 2017. Late entries will not be accepted.
Entry fee for this competitio is 25 USD per entry.
