Bicycle design contest, international competition organised by MAD Bicycles has been recently opened for entries with aim to select the author of the most interesting bike design and to promote creativity and visual arts as a form of spending leisure time at home.
About Competition
Bicycle design contest, international competition organised by MAD Bicycles, now is calling for entries!
The aim of this competition is to select the author of the most interesting bike design, which will then be manufactured by the organiser and presented to the winner as a prize. The goal of the contest is also to promote creativity and visual arts as a form of spending leisure
time at home.
The Contest involves developing a graphic design of the Participant’s dream bike.
Submission guidelines:
➜ The design can be done with any art technique (e.g. simple sketch, graphics, painting, collage, computer graphics). The handwritten design should be photographed or scanned and then sent in JPG, TIF or PDF format. Minimum image size need to be 1500px with maximum size of 10MB. The design can be done from scratch in the form of digital 2D or 3D graphics (raster or vector).
➜ Each participant may submit a maximum of 2 entries for the Contest.
➜ Each participant may add a description of up to 100 words to their project.
➜ The author of the design may include in its description the material from which the bicycle should be made, but the final decision on the material and execution technique used for the winning project is up to the MAD Bicycles design team.
Evaluation criteria:
➜ artistic qualities: idea, message, expressiveness, readability, aesthetics, originality, and positive associations,
➜ the alleged utility value of the project.
The results will be announced on July 15th 2020.

Eligibility
This competition is open to all around the world.
Prize
The Jury will select one winning bicycle design, on the basis of which the organiser will manufacture a bicycle which will be a prize for the author of the winning design. Several Entries of exceptional merit will receive honorable mentions and surprise prizes will also be awarded.
