Following on from our successful scholarship programme last year, we wanted to give a similar opportunity to students this year.
About Competition
Following on from their successful scholarship programme last year, organizer want to give a similar opportunity to students this year opening the new edition of their Discount Displays Design Competition.
Guidelines:
Organizer is asking college students, undergraduate university students and post graduate students to draw on their subject knowledge, inspiration from their course and their creative flair to create an eye-catching and inspirational design which could be used on a pop up display, often seen at university open days and events.
The objective is to design a pop-up stand that promotes the student’s relevant course and appeals to prospective students while taking into consideration the brand and identity of their university.
All submissions should be sent from an educational institutes email address. If you don’t have access to a relevant email address, then please send proof of enrollment to your university.
Submission requirements:
• Total Graphic area: 2966 (w) x 2280 (h) mm
• Total visual area: 2928(w) x 2242(h) mm
• Front visual area: 2242(w) x 2242(h) mm
• Endcap Visual area: 343(w) x 2242(h) mm
• Back visual area: 2242(w) x 2242(h) mm
• CMYK
• Convert Pantone colours to CMYK.
• Do not supply RGB images.
• Do not embed images, supply them.
• Resolution must be 300 dpi at 25% output size.
• All fonts must be converted to outlines.
• Please supply artwork as PDF or Illustrator EPS files.
Please be sure to include the 19 mm around the perimeter. DO NOT design any critical elements (text,logos,etc) within 50mm of the edge.
Only 1 entry per applicant can be submitted.
You need to send your pop up stand design as a PDF file to the email address scholarship@discountdisplays.co.uk before or on the deadline of 30th September.
Winners will be chosen from the Discount Displays judging panel based on the design that has best fulfilled the brief.
There is no entry fee to participate!
Eligibility
This competition is open to all college or university students, and all applicants must be attending a UK based educational institute.
