Ecuador Poster Bienal 2022 Call for Posters now is over!

Ecuador Poster Bienal 2022, competition and event focused on cultural, social, academic and professional values, now is calling for entries inviting all design students, graphic designers, architecture, artists, photographers and visual communicators to participate with they best posters.

About Competition

The Ecuador Poster Bienal 2022, an international competition and event focused on cultural, social, academic and professional values, has been recently announced for entries.

Every two years, Ecuador Poster Bienal celebrates the most creative in the world works. An international jury of design icons, performs an arduous process that selects the best works that represent the values ​​of a constantly evolving industry. As part of the Ecuador Poster Bienal an International Congress of Visual Communication is presented, which consists of a series of exhibitions, conferences and workshops.

There are five categories:

➜ Advertising
➜ Social, Cultural and Political
➜ Students
➜ Animated
➜ Galapagos

Entries will be selected by the Jury composed of icons of design and all selected participants will be informed by e-mail before 31st July 2022.

Submission requirements

➜ All works should be first submitted as digitally files. Size: 700px x 1000px (Vertical), RGB, 72 dpi, JPG, 500kb (Maximum)

➜ There is no limit to the number of entries submitted by each competitor. Entries must have been created/published between 1st January 2020 and 31st May 2022.

If your work is selected you need to send 2 copies of your works to Quito, Ecuador (address labels will be sent to each selected designer by email privately) until 20 August 2022. It is recommended to printing works in the standard size of 70cm x 100cm, although there are no special requirements.
But if you prefer they can print your poster and in that case you will need to send the file 300 dpi, size 70cm x 100cm to ecuadorposterbienal@gmail.com and pay USD $20 for each work through Western Union.

Eligibility

Design students, graphic designers, architects, artists, photographers and visual communicators in general, no matter their age or nationality.
