Eleven Cambodia 2015: Protect, Respect, Empower now is over!
The intention is to design a sustainable movable structure on Cambodia’s UNESCO Tonle Sap Lake to act as medical clinic, ecological research platform and educational facility for the 1.2 million people living in floating villages.
About Competition
The Competition will launch a series of international exhibitions in the USA, Europe and Asia. A publication will also result from the event.
Projects will be selected by a world class jury of twelve (12) academics, professionals and editors, including the editor of the Architecture Review, Tom Kundig, Grimshaw Architects, rising star Andrew Maynard and representatives from IAAC (Barcelona), the Bartlett (London) and the Boston School of Architecture.
The Competition is in support of a local Cambodia NGO: the Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC), with part of its proceeding being donated in support of the AHC’s cause and humanitarian efforts.
Eleven Cambodia 2015 Entry Fees:
- Early Fees (11 June 2015 – 22 June 2015): £50
- Standard Fees (22 June 2015 – 11 September 2015): £75
