The Escucha Mi Voz Poster Contest 2020 has been recently organised by promoting educational campaigns in favour of Human Rights using design, art and other cultural manifestations, like every year is open worldwide to all designers, graphic and visual artists of any age.
About Competition
Promoting educational campaigns in favour of Human Rights using design, art and other cultural manifestations, the association Escucha mi Voz is organising its Escucha Mi Voz Poster Contest 2020 dedicate to all designers, graphic artists, visual and plastic artists or unrestricted age and gender.
The ability to recognize differences is the first step towards respecting nature. Without this capacity, the impulse to impose a single way of thinking and acting becomes the devastation of all ecosystems in order to obtain homogenization that benefits only a few, and threatens the survival of species, including human life. The over exploitation of natural resources without taking care of the balance will leave us desolate.
Without diversity there is no evolution, without evolution, there will be no survival. Some specific points that you can address in your poster:
● Forest Devastation
● Cultural homogenization
● On exploitation of resources
● Displacement of native peoples by mega corporate projects
● Bbiodiversity preservation
● Contribution of native peoples to the nature´s preservation
● Endangered species
● Respect for the diversity of cultural expressions
● Respect for ecological activism
● Caring for bees and insects in general
Submission requirents:
➜ Each participant will be able to submit up to 10 posters.
➜ Send your poster(s) as far: 2953 x 4134 pixels at 150 dpi in RGB (50 x 70 cm at 150 dpi in RGB), vertical orientation, saved in JPG format, not longer than 10MB per poster.
➜ Posters must be original but not necessarily unpublished.
The best 50 posters will be selected by an international jury and will be part of traveling exhibitions in Mexico (and probably in Latin American and North American countries as well). The exhibitions will start from October 2020. NOTE! You can have a poster exhibition in your country if you want!
The names of the selected designers will be announced during the month of September 2020.
There is no entry fee to participate!
