About Competition
Flora Miranda, Austrian fashion designer, is launching an open call for virtual fashion designs. The open nature of this project facilitates a platform for the participation of all those individuals, designers, artists, students, companies or institutions wanting to express their uniqueness and groundbreaking experimentations in the virtual world of fashion.
With this open call Flora Miranda gives you the opportunity to push your curiosity and creativity by signing up for a collaboration with the designer and founder of the haute-couture label, Flora Miranda, known for her futuristic vision of fashion design.
Flora Miranda has created this platform for innovative ideas that encompass disruptive creativity. Flora aims to inspire artists to apply their talents to the digital realm, promoting technology, sustainability and nuance in the fashion industry, redefining its current values and methods.
Theme of this competition is ’Female power on the internet’.
Submission requirements:
➜ One or more virtual outfits: Please document your 3D design in images, do not send original files.
➜ Your portfolio.
The work must be unpublished.
You need to send your submission to studio@floramiranda.com before deadline 31st of May.
Evalutation criteria:
➜ Interpretation of theme
➜ Artistic voice, originality, and imagination
➜ Craftsmanship, including quality, technique, attention to detail
Each participant will me notified about the selection by 8th June 2020.
The selected design will be integrated and presented collaboratively in Flora Miranda upcoming fashion collection.
