GANDIABLASCO, a well-known outdoor furniture company, announces its 14th edition of its International Outdoor furniture competition inviting all design students or young professionals to partecipate with they best project.
About Competition
GANDIABLASCO, outdoor furniture brand belonging to Gandia Blasco Group, announces the 14th International Outdoor Furniture Design Contest to give an opportunity to the future talents of the sector, through a challenge that is renewed year after year. This time, the participants will have to design an outdoor lamp taking into account criteria such as creativity and innovation, the functionality of the design and its capacity for integration in an outdoor space.
Works submitted must be unpublished proposals and must have not been submitted to any other contests or previously published, must be reproducible on an industrial scale and the use of any plastic material other than 100% recyclable is banned.
Submission requirements:
❶ A full description of the project with the identifying title on the front cover, presented in PDF and A4 format.
➜ Description of the product and build details.
➜ Approximate estimate of manufacturing costs.
❷ Submit A3 format (minimum of 2 and maximum of 3), saved in PDF:
➜ Floor plans for the proposed design: floors, walls and sections.
➜ Technical details explaining how the product is to be built.
➜ Isometric perspectives, rendered images or photographs showing attractive views of the product, contextualised in an outdoor setting.
The jury of the competition is made up of professionals relevant to the world of culture and the furniture industry. They will analyse each of the presented projects, taking into account aspects such as: creativity and the capacity for innovation, the functionality of the design and its capacity for integration in an outdoor space.
There is no entry fee to participate!
Eligibility
GANDIABLASCO - 14th International Outdoor Furniture Design Contest is open to students and young design professionals, between the ages of 18 and 35 years. The participants may submit their projects either individually or collectively
