The GCA Network, initiated by the H&M Foundation, has announced the 2016 Global Change Award, an international fashion design competition for the next big ideas in the industry.
About Competition
Fashion design competition the Global Change Award is an innovation challenge initiated by the H&M Fondation in 2015. It is looking for disruptive ideas that can shape the future of how fashion is designed and produced, shipped, bought, used and recycled - ideas that can help close the loop for fashion - in order to protect our planet.
This competition is an early stage innovation challenge aiming to close the loop for fashion, while taking on one of the biggest challenges facing today’s fashion industry – to create fashion for a growing population while reducing its impact on the environment.
The 2016 call for application opens on 1st September.
