H&M DESIGN AWARD 2019 now is over!
H&M Design Award 2019, fashion design competition for students organized by famouse industry H&M with aim to bring up the most promising talents in fashion and give them a springboard in their careers invites all students at selected design schools around the world.
About Competition
Fashion design competition titled H&M Design Award, an annual design prize for graduating students has been recently opened for entries for 2019. The prize, which underlines H&M’s strong commitment to the future of fashion, was established in 2012 to support young designers’ as they begin their careers in fashion.
H&M wants to find the most promising graduates from the world’s top fashion schools and give them the opportunity to progress their career in fashion.
Students are welcome to participate by submitting their portfolios.
Your graduate collection should be based on garments, with at least 4 complete outfits per entry (no entries that are just print or accessories). The collection can focus on womenswear, menswear, kidswear or a mixed application.
You must plan to graduate from a 2018 BA or MA qualifying program (or equivalent to that) from a participating college.
The H&M Design Award is held in English and it is very important that you are able to speak and understand this language.
Each year organiser put together a new jury of fashion experts from different parts of the fashion world.
The jury assesses the designers’ creativity, innovation, craftsmanship, uniqueness and the element of sustainability. They also look at how well-made and well-coordinated the graduate collection is.
The final will be held at the end of November or the beginning of December 2018.
There is no entry fees for this competition.

The H&M Design Award 2019 is open for 2018 BA or MA graduating students from selected fashion design schools.
