The Human Development Report Office (HDRO) of the United Nations Development Programe is organizing a data visualization of graphic design competition and inviting users and artists to interpret provided human development data. Both infographics and interactive visualizations are eligible for submission.
About Competition
The Human Development Report Office (HDRO) of the United Nations Development Programe is organizing a data visualization of graphic design competition and inviting users and artists to interpret provided human development data. Both infographics and interactive visualizations are eligible for submission.
This graphic design competition is hosted in the context of Cartagena DataFest 2015, a three day festival in Colombia focused on solving critical gaps in coverage, access and analysis of data.
All finalists will receive a plane ticket and three (3) days of accommodation in Cartagena, Colombia, to receive their prize and attend the conference.
Entries will be judged on a combination of originality, artistry, understanding of the data, clarity of information and usefulness to the viewer.
Finalists will be announced in advance of the Cartagena Data Fest, at the beginning of April 2015. The finalists of this graphic design competition will be invited to the 2015 Cartagena DataFest from 20-22 April 2015, where the awards ceremonies will be held.
