IDCS Design Excellence Awards 2021 now is over!
The Interior Design Confederation Singapore (IDCS) is calling for entries for its 2021 Design Excellence Awards, the leading awards program showcases the best interior design talent in Asia-Pacific, open to design firms and/or designers practicing spatial design-related discipline globally.
About Competition
The Design Excellence Awards is the leading Awards program in Asia Pacific that celebrates interior design excellence. It is organised by the Interior Design Confederation Singapore (IDCS) the professional body representing Interior Designers in Singapore, supported by the government agencies Design Singapore and Enterprise Singapore.
Design Excellence Awards is an interior design competition organised by IDCS in 2003 to recognise and celebrate the best interior design projects in Singapore.
In 2014, the Design Excellence Awards established two distinct award categories, one for Interior Design practitioners called “Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA)” and the second award category “Spatial Design Awards (SPADE)” was designed to reward and recognise interior design works by students. In 2018/2019, DEA was opened for interior design submissions from all over the world.
Interior Design Excellence Awards (I-DEA)
The Interior Design Excellence Awards (I-DEA) acknowledges design firms and practitioners whom have achieved international excellence in their design practice.
Submission entry must be a completed built project between 1st Jan 2018 – 31st Dec 2020.
Spatial Design Awards (SPADE)
The Spatial Design Awards (SPADE) honours design institutions and students whose works demonstrate strong design thinking and new, exciting spatial design concepts.
Submission entry must be a completed Institutional project between 1st Jan 2018 – 31st Mar 2021.
Jurors are eminent, award winning and industry acclaimed Design professionals appointed by the Interior Design Confederation Singapore (IDCS).
Eligibility
Interior Design Excellence Awards (I-DEA) is open to design firms and/or designers practicing spatial design-related discipline globally.
Spatial Design Awards (SPADE) is open to students currently enrolled in a Design Institution pursuing spatial design-related disciplines globally.
Entry fees
Entry fee is $520 for a IDCS Member and $580 for Non-member. Students entry cost $60. There is an discount for multiple-entries.
