iMapp Bucharest 2017 Videomapping Competition

IMapp Bucharest 2017 Videomapping Competition now is over!
International Videomapping Competition titled iMapp Bucharest, one of the biggest video contest and event in the world has been recently opened for entries for 2017 inviting all artists to create an 4 minute and 30 seconds long video-mapped animations theme this year themed “Above and Beyond”.
About Competition
The organizers of this video contest are inviting international artists to create 4 minute and 30 second long videomapped animations to the theme of “Above and Beyond” adapted to the façade of Palace of Parliament, Bucharest, Romania using and enhancing the architecture, and accompanied by music. The competition is open to all natural and legal persons regardless of their profession, age, sex, citizenship or residence, people can enter the competition either individually or as a team.
iMapp Bucharest is organized by creart – Center for Creation, Art and Tradition of the Municipality of Bucharest and 360 Revolution as the Event Production Company.
Each year, in September, the best video artists in the world showcase their work on the façade of the Palace of Parliament, in front of a large audience.
Exploration is the key concept of iMapp 2017.
The visual content can be conceptual or figurative, realistic or symbolic
With iMapp Bucharest, they celebrate the artistic and cultural life of their city.
While they believe in the freedom of artistic expression, they do not condone any kind of political statement or social activism and they strongly advise against any offensive content of the shows.
Guidline:
• are required a short description about the artist himself (100 words max)
• title of artwork
• short description of the work (maximum 250 words)
• visual images (maximum 3 pieces of still pictures, 1920×1080, references (maximum 3 youtube or vimeo links)

• Frame rate: 25fps
• File format: Quicktime .mov (Compression: 75% PhotoJPG, Sound: AAC)
The animations will be projected on 16th September 2017, in front of an international jury and a live audience.
The competition is open to both professionals and amateurs.
