INDEW Incheon International Design Week 2019 now is over!
Incheon International Design Week (INDEW) 2019 will be held this year for the 15th time in Korea and to commemorate this organiser will held an international design competition inviting any institution, company, or individual involved in the creation or production of the work to participate.
About Competition
INDEW (Incheon International Design Week) Promotion Committee is delighted to invite you to the Incheon International Design Week 2019, an International Design Exchange Exhibition and Festival to be held at the Cosmo40 in Incheon, Korea on Oct. 31th ~ Nov. 3rd in 2019. To commemorate this festival organiser will held design competition inviting any institution, company, or individual involved in the creation or production of the work to participate.
The goal of this event is encourage cities to think about providing better public services for their citizens and improving their sustainable quality of life through design. Previously known as INDEF, Incheon International Design Week began 15 years ago in 2004, and is one of the largest, longest-running art and design event in South Korea. The festival features work from internationally recognized artists and local artists. Since beginning, INDEW has presented a series of design tours providing exclusive access to the best commercial designers, studios, and aspiring academics.
The theme of Incheon International Design Week 2019 is ’Metro, Design, and Habitants”, and put emphasis on the consensus among Design, Art, Metropolis, and their habitants.
Categories are:
• Fine arts and design fields from 2D to 3D,
• painting,
• sculpture,
• photography,
• architecture,
• landscape,
• multi-media,
• film,
• fashion,
• visual communication,
• industrial design,
• printmaking etc.
Submission requirements:
• Any relevant art and design works are accepted. Existing Artworks and images can be submitted as well.
• Digital format submissions only.
• Any medium, such as 3D Arts, paintings, drawings, and visual designs etc. can be taken as a single or multiple digital images.
• Image Size: Lager than 1920 x 1080, JPEG format, 300dpi (optional)

Incheon International Design Week 2019 (INDEW) will be held from 31st Oct. to 3rd Nov at the Cosmo40 convention center in Incheon, Korea. This festival is a venue for world-renowned creators, design-related civil, government and academic circles to explore.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover innovative design products at the place which is transformed from a chemical company and reincarnated just for this festival. Thought-provoking installations, continuing education classes for design professionals, and talks for the design-seeking consumer will be presented as well.
This year, it will showcase various contents so that everyone can experience design in a variety of ways. The exhibition hall will feature an International exchange exhibition, a Regional theme exhibition, Commercial design studios, Design Conferences, and a Entrepreneur job fair.
