International Furniture Design Contest CiaZhan 2021 now is over!
With the inspiration 'Made in Taiwan' to let the world see Taiwan’s products, CiaZhan recently has announced its International Furniture Design Contest CiaZhan 2021 inviting talents from all around the world to participate.
About Competition
CiaZhan recenty has announced its International Furniture Design Contest CiaZhan 2021 inviting talents from all around the world to participate.
With the inspiration "Made in Taiwan" to let the world see Taiwan’s products, organizer extensively invite talents from all around the world to participate in this grand event.
There is a 5-types of Living Furniture:
➜ Cabinet
➜ Shelf
➜ Chair & Table
➜ Sofas
➜ Bed Frame
The total Height of the bed frame cannot be more than 215 cm; the total Height of the rest of the design cannot be more than 185 cm, Length and Width are not limited.
There are some restrictions:
➜ Available material: Screw-free slotted angle, square pipe, stainless steel, acrylic, wood, plastic, cotton, cloth, foam
➜ Prohibit material: animal fur
➜ 50% of the product must be metal (Screw-free slotted angle, square pipe, stainless steel)
Each award may be decided by the final selection to determine whether it is "absent" or "adjusted" depending on the level of the entry. The award and award name may also be changed by the final selection.

➜ Creative features 30%
➜ Practical functionality 20%
➜ Aesthetics 20%
➜ Commodity feasibility 30%
The results will be announced on 15 December 2021.
Eligibility
All individual designers, design teams, design institutions, teachers and students from design schools, and students or ordinary citizens from general non-design majors are welcome to sign up.
Prize
➜ Gold Award - $30,000NTD and a certificate
➜ Silver Award - $10,000NTD and a certificate
➜ Bronze Award - $5,000NTD and a certificate
➜ Mr./Ms. Popularity - $2,500NTD and a certificate
➜ Vendor Favor Award (Several) - A certificate, and the product will be post on the fundraising platform after announced. If the fundraising succeeds, the winner will get a 15% profit sharing.
