Invitation for the world’s cartoonist 2020 now is over!
Naji Benaji, president of MAC - Moroccan Association of the Cartoons in partnership with Radu Iatzco, Antology Cartoons project coordinator invite Cartoon Artist from all over the world to submit their drawings to be included in Album Colletion.
About Competition
This is an invitation to Cartoon Artists all over the world to send their drawings to be included in a forthcoming project aiming to compile a collection containing the works of their selected drawings.
Organizer are intending to print in ANTOLOGY CARTOON COLLECTIONS one Album for each participating country.
During the documentation period, the pages of the Album will be published electronically on the ANTHOLOGY CARTOONS website and also on the facebook page. The Albums circulation will be set before editing for each volume. Each cartoonist artist present with works in the album will receive a copy.
After the documentation period, the Albums will receive an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) for the country in which they will be printed. These volumes – with an ISBN - will then be registered with the Romanian National Library as well as in the National Libraries in each country of participants.
Motivated by the fact that there is a low interest for the print media, the publisher does not take the risk of investing the publication (printing) in market circulation. For this reason, these albums will be destined, especially to the authors appearing on their pages, to the National Libraries that will grant ISBNs and to the collectors.
Albums will not be found in bookstores, they can be ordered individually only for collectors.
Many cartoonists from all over the world are currently engaged with this project being convinced of the importance of worldwide participation.
