Istanbul Photo Awards 2019 Open for Submissions now is over!

Istanbul Photo Awards 2019, an international news photography award for professionals organized by Anadolu Agency is now open for entries waiting for all professional photographers worldwide.

About Competition

Organised by Anadolu Agency, Istanbul Photo Awards, one of the ten most influential global news agencies in the world, recently has been started to accept applications for 2019. This year this photography award marks the fifth anniversary, which is open to professional photographers.

The Istanbul Photo Awards evry year aims to support the profession of photojournalism.

Photographers across the world are expected to submit pictures capturing global events from throughout the year.

Mainly focusing on news and sports photos, the contest has four categories:

• Single News
• Story News
• Single Sports
• Story Sports

Applications will be accepted between Nov. 1, 2018, and Jan. 31, 2019, at http://istanbulphotoawards.com.

Next April, an international jury will meet to select the winners, and the awards will be announced in May.

A number of exhibits will be held inside and outside Turkey to spotlight the work of the award-winning photographers. The winning pictures will also be presented in a special photo album.
