Istanbul Photo Awards 2017 now is over!
Istanbul Photo Awards, an international news photography competition for professionals organised by Anadolu Agency is now open for entries waiting for all professional photographers worldwide and for the first time a Young Photographer award will be given to a winner under the age of 28.
About Competition
Organised by Anadolu Agency, one of the ten most influential global news agencies in the world,photography competition Istanbul Photo Awards has been started to accept applications for 2017.
This year’s competition sees an expanded range of categories, from four to eight.
The Istanbul Photo Awards categories are:
- News Single (1 image)
- News Story (5-15 images)
- Sports Single (1 image)
- Sports Story (5-15 images)
In its third year there are 8 categories to apply. The four new categories include nature-environment single, nature-environment story, portrait-single and portrait-multiple.
Also Photo of the Year and Young Photographer Awards will be given.
A Young Photographer award will be given for the first time to a winner under the age of 28.
As in past years, the jury for this year’s contest is composed of some of the most prestigious names in the field of photography.
The results of the contest will be announced by the end of March next year.
Applications will be accepted until Jan. 31, 2017 via official website.
