The City Council of Cáceres announces the 9th 'City of Caceres' Ibero-American Biennial of Graphic Art 2021 edition, which aims to encourage and support artistic creation, committed to promoting and disseminating cultural activity.
About Competition
The City Council of Cáceres announces the 9th 'City of Caceres' Ibero-American Biennial of Graphic Art 2021 edition, which aims to encourage and support artistic creation, committed to promoting and disseminating cultural activity.
The works submitted to this call for entries must be produced using any procedures for generating multiple printed images: engraving, screen printing, additive techniques, electrographic, digital, etc. All graphic art techniques, alone or in combination, will be accepted.
Artists may submit a maximum of two unpublished and original works. Those more than one year old will not be accepted, nor will copies or anonymous ones. Those that have participated in previous competitions or those that have been edited will not be accepted. The theme and trend are left to the judgement of the participants.
Eligibility
All artists from Spain and the international community, aged 18 years or older are eligible.
Prize
➜ 1st Prize: 6,000 EUR (approx. 7,050 USD)
➜ 2nd Prize: 3,000 EUR (approx. 3,525 USD)
