JAGDA International Student Poster Award 2019 now is over!
Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA) is holding the poster competition titled JAGDA international student poster award 2019, inviting students from all parts of the world to participate.
About Competition
Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA) is inviting students from all parts of the world to enter its International Student Poster Award 2019.
The JAGDA International Student Poster Award is a B1 size poster competition that can be described as the starting point for graphic design in Japan.
B1 size was created as standard from the size of Japanese traditional paper, organizer wish is that you would incorporate your message on it. Organizer aspire to discover new talent that can be found in the instantaneous power of visual communication of a single poster. They hope is to understand each other beyond national and regional borders and to share international issues.
The theme for 2019 competition is “Line”.
Submission requirements:
Accepted works include B1 size posters (width 728mm, height 1,030mm) produced between August 2018 and July 2019, portrait orientation only. Works that express a theme. In addition to independent works, classroom assignments, graduation projects, and works submitted for other awards are also accepted.
All selected works will be exhibited and the winners will be announced on 6 December 2019 at the National Art Center, Tokyo and will be published in a catalog.
Entry Fees:
The fee is 1,000 yen per work. For a work in a series, this would be the number of pieces times 1,000 yen.
