JIA Illustration Award 2018 organised by Japan Illustrators’ Association, the most popular organization of professional illustrators in Japan is accepting entries for a new edition, inviting all illustrators from all over the world to take a part.
About Competition
JIA Illustration Award is illustration competition organised by Japan Illustrators’ Association, the most popular organisation of professional illustrators in Japan and now is accepting submission for 2018 edition inviting all over the world to take a part.
This Illustration Award is held annually since 2000, drawing thousands of professional and amateur talents worldwide.
There are no themes.
Submission requirements:
• They do not ask it the genres such as a freehand drawing, CG, a solid.
• Submited works must be original and have not used for business.
• There is no limit to the number of entries.
• Take three photographs of each work from three directions, and make them as one set.
• Images must be in electronic format (JPEG files).
• The width and the heights should be within 2,000 pixels, up to 1MB for each work. If the size is bigger than 1MB, please compress it when you make JPEG file.
The copyright of the images remains with the authors.
Entry fees:
• 1 image: 3,700 yen (approx. 35 USD)
• 2 images: 6,900 yen (approx. 65 USD)
• 3 images: 10,100 yen (approx. 95 USD)
• 4 images: 13,300 yen (approx. 125 USD)
• 5 images: 16,500 yen (approx. 155 USD)
Eligibility
Anyone can apply regardless of a professional illustrator or not.
