Lahti Poster Triennial 2021 now is over!
The Lahti Poster Triennial 2021 has been recently opened for entries inviting all all artists from around the world to participate.
About Competition
The Lahti Poster Triennial 2021, organised by Lahti Poster Museum, Grafia (Association of Visual Communication Designers in Finland) and Poster Friends’ Guild, now is calling for entrie!
Categories are:
● Environmental posters
● Homes and Habitation – Wood in Homes for Sustainable Development
● Ideological, social and cultural posters (Posters accepted for this category are required to be previously published)
Submission guidelines:
➜ All the posters need to have been published after 1 January 2018.
➜ The minimum size for accepted posters is 42 x 60 cm and the maximum size is 120 x 180 cm.
➜ An individual artist or group of artists may upload a maximum of 4 posters.
➜ The format for the poster documents is as follows: Long side 3508 pixels | JPG | RGB | 300 dpi.
The posters are to be sent in digital format to the address www.lahtipostertriennial2021.fi between 1 August and 30 November 2020.
The prize-winning posters will be selected by the International Jury. Prizes will be awarded to posters meeting high requirements with regard to creativity, originality, aesthetic quality, and communicative function.
The results of the competition will be announced and the prizes will be awarded at the opening of the exhibition 2021 in Finland. All participants who have submitted posters are cordially welcome to the opening of the exhibition.
Entry fees:
There is an entry fee of 20 EUR per artist/artist group (you can submit 4 posters).

This competition is open to all artists from around the world.
Prize
The following prizes will be awarded:
➜ Grand Prix: 5,000 EUR
➜ The Grafia Tapani Aartomaa Prize: 4,000 EUR
➜ The Lauri Tarasti Prize for Environmental Posters: 4,000 EUR
➜ The Lahti Prize: 3,000 EUR
➜ The Special Prize of the Asko Foundation: 3,000 EUR
