LensCulture and legendary photography agency Magnum Photos are joining forces for the 2nd edition of photography competition year to produce one of the best opportunities for photographers all over the world to be recognised and rewarded for their talent.
About Competition
Magnum Photos and LensCulture invite you to enter they 2nd edition of Magnum Photography Awards 2017, an international photography competition to discover the best photographers from all over the world.
2017 marks a significant year for Magnum as they celebrate 70 years since four pioneering photographers toasted the conception of an independent photo agency. This landmark anniversary will be marked by a series of international events, projects and partnerships, with an emphasis on the agency’s digital presence and the photography community at large.
There are six categories in which you can participate:
• Documentary
• Portrait
• Street
• Photojournalism
• Fine Art
• Open
You may submit single images and series (10 photos reviewed as one entry. Submission should work together as a group, thematically or aesthetically).
Entry feesfor this competition are:
• 20 USD for 1 single photo and 10 USD for each additional photo
• 50 USD for 5 single photos reviewed as 5 separate entries
• 60 USD for a related series of 10 photos reviewed as one entry
Eligibility
This competition is open to photographers of all levels, all types of photography, all points of view, all countries, and all ages.
