Les Nuits Photographiques: call for entries now is over!
The term “photo-films” (or films-photographiques in French) is used to encompass all forms of creation using photography that are presented and intended for the screen such as: POM, webdoc, slideshows, time lapse, stop motion, hybrid and experimental uses of photography and multimedia.
About Competition
Work will be chosen based on the originality of the artist’s vision and the creativity of their photo-film. The prize is open to all works with no genre limitations. Maximum length is 30 minutes.
The 5th edition of photography competition Les Nuits Photographiques will take place in Le pavillon Carré de Baudouin, Paris 20th district, from 17 September to 12 December 2015. This year’s edition includes three evenings of outdoor screenings of pictures in motion, on giant screens in the garden of le pavillon Carré de Baudouin 17, 18 and 19 September and the exhibition Where does money go? from 17 September to 12 December, bringing together established and emerging artists.
Entry fee is 18 Euro (approx. 20 USD) for each work presented.
The festival’s artistic directors will select around twenty photo-films from the complete collection of work submitted. Each one selected will be screened during the projection evenings of the festival 17, 18 and 19 September 2015.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all amateurs and professional artists, regardless of age or nationality.
